Established
on 19th March 1887 by the Franciscans Conventual (ofm conv.),
the Parish is situated in the north west corner of North Somerset
between the River Avon to the north and the Severn estuary to
the west.
Portishead
is a rapidly expanding town and forms the hub of the parish. The
M5 divides the parish with Portishead and the villages of Weston
in Gordano and Clapton in Gordano to the west and the small town
of Pill, Easton in Gordano and Ham Green and the villages of Abbots
Leigh, Failand and Portbury to the east.
